Melina is a popular American actress. She is most famous for playing the role of Dr. Sydney Hansen, a doctor on the NBC show Providence and Dr. Lane Hunter from the medical drama The Resident. She also received acclaim for her breakthrough television debut as Eleni Andros Cooper in the CBS soap series Guiding Light. Her most notable movies are 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. She is reportedly developing a movie adaptation of writer Elisabeth Kubler-Ross's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides, the team who wrote the movie Immortals. She's also filming a new television series titled Gods & Heroes.
