She then appeared in American Idol, but failed to make it to the top. Apryl attempted to get an audition on Making the Band, but that too did not work for her. Apryl was also featured on Search For The Next Doll to audition for the Pussycat Dolls. Apryl was not able to please anyone on the panel and was therefore not chosen. The artist she met was well-known who was on tour with him as the back-up singer. After a few months, the couple were able to join the eight original castmembers in Vh1's Hollywood. The first season explores the pregnancy and birth of Megaa Grandberry. Season two explores her career anxieties and frustrations while she is enjoying newfound fame. Omarion as well as Apryl weren't present during the filming of the second reunion season because Omarion had been on tour. Apryl revealed the couple had quit the series on December 7, 2015. They won't ever return to the show in the next season. Apryl's baby girl A'mei was born the 7th of March in 2016. Apryl announced her breakup with Omarion four months later. Apryl appeared on the show in season 4and met with Lil' Fizz to discuss a potential B2K reunion. Apryl is back on the series in Season 6, in which she reveals her custody struggles with Omarion, as well as media speculations and scrutiny regarding her relationships to Lil' Fizz. In the sixth season of Apryl the two of them Fizz confess to having an affair, which leads to her conflicting with Moniece.
