Annie Mist Thorisdottir works as a professional CrossFit athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She also coaches and instructor at Crossfit Reykjavik. Annie is the first female to be crowned the winner of the CrossFit Games twice. Annie was second in the CrossFit Games of 2010 CrossFit Games and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir was an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion and media celebrity. Her fame was boosted by her being the first woman to have been awarded the two CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012 In 2013, and in 2017 she took home her first Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie was brought up with her family in Reykjavik Iceland. Since a young age, Annie was a huge sports enthusiast and was a fan of exercising. She won many medals in school competitions. In 2009, she was the first participant in the CrossFit competitions in California in which she did very well during the initial competitions. Annie Thorisdottir's average age is 31 years (as as of 2021). She stands at 5' 7" tall, and weighs about 67 kg. Annie started with her CrossFit experience in 2009, in California. Annie was able to do well during the first few competitions. Annie was ranked among top 10 of over 70. But she did not win a championship and concluded with a 11th-place finish in the event. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. under the direction of Jami Tikkanen, Annie finished 2nd in CrossFit Games and was awarded the Silver Medal that year. It was her second year, she participated in her second CrossFit Games. Due to her incredible performance she was the first woman who won CrossFit Games. Annie's outstanding performance in 2012 helped her to another CrossFit Games victory. This was the second time she had won consecutively. Silver medals were awarded in the year 2014 and then in 2021, she won a Bronze medal in the CrossFit Games. Annie trains and coaches in Crossfit Reykjavik that she started. Annie has become a famous athlete when she gained fame. She has worked with many sports brands like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Revolution Periodization Nuun Hydrolysis Sidekick Yerbae and many more. In addition, she has an Youtube channel named "Annie" with several thousand subscribers. These are her travel videos and training diet and nutrition videos.
